Just a lil update to say YEAH the SUN is SHINING!! Oh I love these days, clear skys perfect weather to get out and about with the kids and do a bucket load of gardening. Jason has been out riding all morning (4 hours) so I am sure he has enjoyed himself to the MAX with this Spring Beauty of a day.

Yesterday I spoilt myself and after many years got my digital slr camera :) doing a happy dance here. WOW wish I did it ages ago, what a difference in the lovely photos and crispness. So there will be lots of photos to follow on the blog soon, haven't had time to use it yet.

Had a snap this gorgeous boy the other day. Cade and Lainey tucked him in all snuggled up before they headed to school aaawwwwwwwwwww.

Made the below door hanging for a girlfriends sweet baby girl "Peggy". Sorry bad photo.

Cade is so proud to be a Joey Scout and Lainey is busting to join him, only a few years yet missy and you will be part of the Scout movement aswell xx

This creation was a bright pink box!!!! So I decided to jazz it up a bit with some collections papers, texture paste, rub n buff and lots of lil trinkets etc. Love how it turned out and can't wait to finish the inside off as it needs some desperate attention. Also inside it holds an altered book, not quite sure how I am scrapping the pages as yet so stay tuned.

Oh I had so much fun putting this beautiful LO of Lainey together. This was completed for Bon's Scraps Room of the month and what a beautiful room it is. Three flowers on the page with the dark green/pink tinge are handmade out of old book pages thanks to Sarah for her wonderful teaching skills. There is also journalling inside the Maya Road pocket tag.

Here is Bon's colour challenge for this month's cybercrop. I must say the finger painting was alot of fun :)

MMmmmm well this is Little Miss Lainey playing in her bedroom with her friend who's hidden in the corner. The saying "The bigger the room, the bigger the mess" IS CORRECT! Yikes sometimes I can go into her bedroom, turn around and just walk away.......................

These are a few candid photos from the Scout Camp that I attended. Yes I am now a leader and go to Scouts every week with Cade and love every minute of it. The values that are taught are wonderful and the friends that we both meet are priceless. This month we are visiting the Police Station and Fire Station (the kids are going to love it).

We headed down to the foreshore for some playtime and to visit the Ol English Lolly Shop. The kids picked out a packet of Magic Lollies to share, they have recently watched Harry Potter so these lollies were a hit with the broom and witch shapes. Heaps of fun was had by all, although it was blowing a gale.

Cade with Mum's sunnies on. Dad was trying to point out a small aircraft doing tricks and Cade couldn't see due to the glare so he nabbed my eyewear.

Cade loves this tree, he looks for it everytime to climb. I had a tree like this in my backyard when I was little and spent hours hooking up pully devices and all sorts from it.

Well it has been another busy week with study and work but I am finding a better balance now to fit the rest of my life into. This week my priority is to find Chewy a kennel for a week over Xmas, they are all booked out already :( Would love him to go to his fav kennel so fingers crossed they have a cancellation, Chewy is first on the waiting list.

Oh and one last photo of Lainey's new love of the moment "Mr Alien" she calls him and they snuggle together every night to keep warm.

The photos below are of a mini canvas book by Maya Road that I have put together. Oh how devine are the lil canvas pockets MWAH! I used all sorts of paints, glimmermists etc and had a ball getting messy decorating the front cover. The Papers are from the new basic grey range and they are so so yummy.

Today I am playing with Bons kits from July, wow that girl knows how to throw a FAB kit together!!! A couple of pages I have scrapped recently, have mojo but just not the time to enjoy my love of paper and embellies as much as I would like :(

Not much time for ME!! Crazy days filled with busy lil bee's trying to constantly cram everything in...........!!!! We have celebrated Laineys 3rd birthday, watched Jason ride a 6hour endurance race on the mountain bike oh and did assignments Blergh. Also took a trip to see Great Nanna Rita in Three Springs, oh she is the most gorgeous lady EVER. I have managed to fit a wee bit of craft time in but nowhere near what I would have liked to accomplish.

Now it has started to rain outside and yes all my washing as in TOWELS are on the line lol, winter is not the best drying season.

How wonderful is the present from my sister, she has just been to Tokyo and America. So I got some nice cream, origami papers from Tokyo and some Edward Cullen Lollies "LUST"!

And below is a picture of the most gorgeous rak from the most gorgeous Megan Leslie, WOW WEE how spoilt am I. Thanks Megan smooches MWAH.

Our Gorgeous 3year old is growing up into such a sweet girl, oh I just want some more cuddles. At the moment her favourite things are food (rofl), Chewy our puppy, playing lego with Cade and dress ups!! She got a mini kiddies lipstick for her birthday and she is walking around telling everyone to look at my lips they are pretty.

Happy Easter LOVELY PEOPLE!!

And what a FAB day we had it was full of chocolate, family, love, laughs and crazy crazy times! Started at 6am with Lainey creeping in ever so quietly to play with Chewy (dog) and the Cade crashing in "The Easter Bunny has BEEN"!!!!!!!

Oh the smiles and the joy was worth every moment of dragging my sorry lil self out of BED. :)

We spent the day at my Sis's house (formally known as Kelsey). They have just been handed the keys to their new lil home and Brian and Kelsey are STOKED FULLY!! It is so close to the city, friends and cute wee shops down the road. So this called for a "Oh What a Feeling Moment" LOL..........LOVE.......

Well after we over indulged on some choccies back at home Jason and Lainey hung out in Missy's room playing good ol Mr Potato Head. Need to get a photo of Darth Tater (classic).

So I haven't created as much as I would have liked to lately and yes Im slow on the uptake of loading and photographing YEP SLOW POKE. SO the only cool arty thing I have to show you is this playdough creation by my husband whilst playing with the kiddies.

Short but sweet this post but I have a great excuse.

Yes well famous last words eh??? Mmmmm "Once a Week I Promise to Blog"!!!! ROFL, well I haven't been successful in the past but you just never know what is around the corner :)

All is super wonderful in my life, husband is great and kids are happy!! Busy keeping up with the everyday life and entertaining the wee ones lol. As you can see from the Scrap Room Pictures above, I am still finding a lil bit of time to enjoy one of my fav passions.

I haven't scrapped up a storm but I am keeping myself busy doing some scrapping for my LSS "Made With Memories", I now also teach classes there on a monthly basis aswell.

Have been missing my time at Bonsscraps and hope to find some hours in the day where I can create, share and gossip with all the wonderful girls at Bons. Had such a wonderful time catching up with the BON and the girls when BON and family came over on holidays, so good to see the gang again.

Cade has settled well into Year One and has his teacher from last year again who is Awesome and has made the transition easier for him. I had a day of relief work as an Education's Assistant last week and I was over the moon. This is what I am studying for and to get work at this School where my children will be attending makes me HAPPY :). Would like to get relief at other School's aswell, so here is hoping with my fingers crossed.

Well I will leave you all with some eye candy and promise YES PROMISE to blog again real soon.

Okay this is me trying very hard not to drop the Light Saber Cake I made Cade for his Six Birthday!! The kids loved the cake and so did the adults YUMMO!

Okay so I have been doing the typical MUM thing and running around in circles trying to keep up with my TO DO LIST aaghhhhhh!!!!! School holidays start in a couple of weeks and I have just so much to do before they even arrive. We are heading away to see my Mum and Dad and hang out with them for a week or so and just got the kids a dvd player for the car, hoping this will keep them occupied on the journey (5 hours)......... Jason is staying home, not time for him to take holidays at the moment until Xmas and we will miss him :(

Jas has also been busy training for a big bike ride down south, 100kms and he is doing this without a support crew.

I passed my first assignment which was a great confidence booster so now I need to put my head down and my bum up as they say and get some more work done. Have prac all day 2morrow at Cade's school, I have such a lovely time in his class and love watching the children learn.

Created this LO for a sub, not sure how I will go but I was quite happy with the outcome. I used a card that my parents received when I was born (vintage lol). The wings are made from a doiley that I cut up and I think they look so so cute.

Yes I have been Op Shopping again and this is my stash I came home with. Got some gorgeous material I want to turn into an apron for Lainey. Some cool buttons, doiley's (of course) and some great thread all at a really cheap price.

Lainey is starting to play more independently now which is nice for ME LOL!! Her favourites are the My Little Ponies at the moment and her eyes just light up when she is playing with them.

Mmmmm nothing better than fresh home cooking, I have been spending alot of time in the kitchen (don't we all) cooking up new recipes for the family to try. Have some new dips I want to try for the kids for a snack on the wknd, nice n healthy ones. Some new muffins I haven't tried before just dying to be made and some lovely dishes with leeks n bok choys.

HAPPY THIRD BIRTHDAY TO BONSSCRAPS

The CC challenges are awesome and very challenging, so if you are after something a lil different this is the place to BE!!

Wow the criteria for this LO was HUGE and I loved it. Nothing better than pushing the comfort zone to get the ol brain working.

The monthly kits at Bons are still to die for and yes people will start dying soon as they are selling out SUPER DUPER QUICK. I suggest a sub and NO I don't sub and YES Im thinking I need to NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These are a couple of LO's I have done to possibly teach in the LSS, not sure how the gig will go as I haven't tried teach scrapbooking before. Wish me luck as I think Im going to need it!!

Some family shots from the week gone by, Lainey loves her new Dora hat and is pretty much living in it now on a regular basis. Suprised she isn't leaving it on when going to bed.

TV QUEEN, yes Lainey likes to climb on the tv unit and get up close and personal with the television. You know the old saying " Don't get to close as your eyes will go square ", well Lainey has SQUARE eyes for sure lol.

Just a slight FAV pastime of mine, IM HEARTING VAMPIRES SO MUCH that Im dreaming about them. Promise I won't start sucking blood just yet, but if it meant I could be with Edward then I would without hesitation............................. I sucker ya blood...................lol

Can't stop reading, started with Twilight and now I need to go to bed early and read, read, read. It is so nice to get back into the books and it has revamped my imagination that's for sure.

Im now scrapping my friends birthday presents. HELP I HAVE A PROBLEM. Watch out I will be scrapping white goods next, or possibly the bin as that's ugly.

Wow not sure where to start this post. I have serious HEARTS*** for all the lovely girls at Bonsscraps and had the bestest time ever. There was plenty of chatting, fab classes by the gorgeous DT, the venue was lovely and the food delicious. OH AND IM BOOKED TO GO NEXT YEAR FOR SURE. It is so lovely to feel welcome and be part of this wonderful Forum and to have met friends that I will cherish forever.

Bargain Hunting AGAIN!!

This cute lil table set me back $5, yep 5 bucks WOO HOO!! Have been looking for a desk for Cade's room for awhile now and didn't want to spend to much. Cade is just loving jigsaws and anything to do with the art n crafts and I thought a table in his room and his own creative space would be gorgeous. The kids are lucky as their rooms are like mini games rooms they are very roomy so heaps of space to create way to much chaos .

A lovely walk to the park the other day in the winter weather, we are so lucky in our suburb as the developers have established some beautiful parks for the kids AND dogs to play in. We have three parks all within a five minute walk from our house.

Cade's class did assembly last week and afterwards we had morning tea in his PP Classroom. Lainey had such a lovely time sitting at the table with her brother and all of Cade's Classmates. Can't believe as of next term I will be in his class doing my prac and studying towards being a Education Assistant. It is such an exciting time for me as I feel so settled and grounded and just overall very happy with life.

This is Lainey's hair done for CRAZY HAIR DAY at daycare. She loved it and kept saying Pretty Mummy :)

the girls have all jumped in and challenging ourselves with a photo chain challenge. It is so much FUN to see what everyone comes up with and how we all look at the challenge differently.

So need to get organised and send out some RAK's. I have been meaning to do this now for a couple of weeks and just haven't got around to putting it all together. SO SLACK

Happy mail is so nice to recieve and I have all this yummy lace looking for a new home.

Tell you now I am loving body combat/pump/boxercise at the moment, seven pairs of jeans have been passed on to friends and the local op shop as they no longer fit. It is a slow process but I am finally seeing the results. And yes Im a jeans addict, think I have a fetish for denim...................................

Off to scrap now, kids are asleep, Jason is spin cycling and Im also going to grab out my stash of chocolate and have a piece or two or three or four.......or......or......or

Had a nice quiet day at home today with the kiddies, took Chewy for his walk. Its only his third time around the block and he is a good boy on the lead. Kids had a ball and of course had to go check the ducks out at the park.

Busy Little Bee

Well Im not quite sure where I am going to start this post as it has been so long since I updated last!! So as I eat coloured popcorn and drink Pepsi Max I will type away and fill you in on a quick overall monthly collection of my busy life.

I have re enrolled in an Educations Assistants course and will be starting my practical experience at Cades School, in his class next semester. Very excited and have been going over my first three subjects and ooooh I have some work ahead of me. Have nearly finished this qualification in QLD with Tafe but it is not recognised in WA as the systems are so different, so no exemptions for this little lass. As they say "Back to the Drawing Board"!!

Our Puppy Chewy is all grown up, he is around 5months old now and has been for his first couple of walks around the block. Oh he is a very good boy on the leash, considering I haven't spent much time training him. I do have to teach the boy though that he is not a pitbull and he will get us both in trouble if he keeps growling at all the other BIGGER dogs.

This is a GROOVY OWL TREE MOTIF that is now stuck proudly to my scraproom wall next to my BIG desk. How cool is it?

Ahoy Me Hearties we had a fantastic Pirate Party for Cade's 5th birthday, it was a beautiful day with all the kids getting dressed up. Cade loved his pirate cake and of course the presents!!!

BUSY TIMES

YES it has been BUSY TIMES. Haven't had much ME time lately as I have been busy with the all the social stuff the New Year throws at you during the school holidays. Also have unfortunately been suffering from a sore throat that keeps coming back and pestering me and Im absolutley over it, well and truly!!! Oh well such is life and fingers crossed the doctor will sort out some tests and finally find out the cause of it all.

Cant believe Cade is starting Pre Primary on Monday, very excited for our boy who is just jumping around with excitement to go back to school. Mum is jumping aswell, because that means more ME TIME.

Oh and I must say I am spoilt as Jason (DH) is having the kids on the long wknd at the end of this month, whilst I whisk myself away down South on a retreat. It is going to be bliss and our good friends Steph and Anna will attending aswell, can't wait to catch up. Haven't actually been on a retreat before so not sure exactly how much to pack, mmmmmm and I never ever pack on the light side ooops Im giddy with excitement....

Oh and how spoilt is this, late Xmas party from our Boss at work was a very fancy Limo ride to a very nice restaurant to say Thanks. What a lovely Boss she is. The Limo was fantastic, the music was loud and the champagne was flowing. We couldn't stop ourselves from giggling we were all having such a lovely time.

Well must get on, plenty to do. Sleep would be fantastic, I think sleeping is my underlying problem with my sickness lately. Never seem to be able to settle into a decent sleep without waking every hour or two. Maybe I should count sheep LOL.

MIL is coming over 2morrow to watch Cade and I plan on scrapping, how lucky am I. Dawn is a gem and we are all lucky to have her around.

As usual life has been so crazy yet beautiful!!!

Yes busy again with the day to day grind of everyday life. Cade has had his first sports carnival, Lainey has been on two lots of antibiotics and the weather is all over the place. Not quite summer yet not quite winter, up and down up and down up and down.

Been busy gearing myself up for summer and the silly season, doing the spring clean and just trying to enjoy the outdoors (weather permitting).

Have found a new love in Body Combat etc and I am so happy with the feeling of new invigoration and energy.

Our house is looking MINTOX (now that's 80's) we have done some more paving and just general hanging of pictures and placing of knick knacks makes it more homely everday.

Well Yes Christmas is just around the corner and I have so far nearly finished all my Xmas Pressie Shopping PHEW!!! Hate the crowds so I like to beat the rush and be organised and also hate forking all that money out at the last moment all in one day.

These are some Christmas cards that I have made for family and friends and Im loving the finished product. Easy to make and very quick n simple.

Xmas Photos I took the other day.
This Layout is for one of Chookscraps Monthly Challenge's, had to use two colours from the rainbow (red/green) and include a bird or insect. I used the rusty pickle papers which I coloured in with aquarels, love it and these papers rock......

Another Chookscraps Challenge, use red and blue, glitter, scallops, brackets, flowers, eyelets and stitching. Lots of criteria which was FUN FUN FUN.

This Layout was done for BONS SCRAPS

loved the colours in this Layout. It is the monthly challenge and the inspiration comes from a picture of a very noice outdoor area (wish it was mine).
Looking forward to meeting the girls from WA Bonscraps 2morrow night at a LSS, need to go and get more organised so I have plenty of photos etc ready to go....

And finally our two gorgeous kids playing happily on their mini tramp in the backyard. They are just the best of friends and the majority of the time love to hang out and keep each other company. Feel so blessed everytime I look at them, our angels xx

Oh I was so spoilt and had a lovely get together with friends, family and all the kids who I must say were so well behaved. We made lots of cupcakes and put them on a nice cup cake holder and it looked awesome, Cade was especially impressed.

Wow well our social calendar is all filled up and there isn't a wknd when we haven't something on to keep us occupied!!!!!

Going to meet all the WA girls from Bons scraps at a local scrap shop in a couple of weeks and I cant wait to see them all IRL!!! Have done a little bit of scrapping on the side, but mainly just trying to keep up with the kids etc etc. Now that I have a job on the side and all the exercise that I am now addicted to, it is hard to find more time for my beloved scrapping. Oh and how much am I enjoying my new job LOVE IT LOVE IT, as I am working back in the lingerie industry and having so much fun doing it.

These are some of my scrapping pages I have completed lately, so much more to do though!! Decorating a clock for my Mum for Xmas and need to get a move on with some other homemade chrissy gifts. Cade is going to help me make biscuits and chocolates for his teacher and friends, busy, busy.

Recent photos of our gorgeous KIDDLETS!!!! Lainey at the teddy bears picnic we attended and Cade dressed up in his favourite "Thomas the Tank", although he is in love with transformers these days aswell.

Oh well it's bedtime for this sweetheart LOL, lots to do 2morrow on the beautiful wknd day that we are going to be having. Taking kids down the beach, but firstly getting family photos taken, wish us luck.....

Its A BIG ONE!!!!!

Well as usual it has been a long time between blogs!!!!! Ouch I keep promising to get blogging more often but the day to day life of a Mum just seems to get in the way. The photos above are of Cade and I on our Mother/Son day out together, we try and do this once a month and its just a beautiful day. We catch the train to Perth City and spend the day touring the toy sections of all the large retailers and then he gets to pick out a wee something and then onto the food court for a happy meal. Cade just loves his day out in the CITY and Mum loves spending time with her lil MAN....

Love this photo of Cade and Lainey walking through a park up at Belmont, we are visiting Aunty Kelsey. Lainey has just learnt to walk so this is a very precious photo, seeing our gorgeous kids together.
Our two transformers with Nannie Joy, dressups are very popular in our household and Lainey loves to put a mask on aswell!!!!!

Yeah I won a challenge at Bonscraps YIPPEE, loved this challenge aswell Bon so that was a bonus.

Okay Yes I have been thrift shopping once again LOL LOL LOL! Love the pigs fly ornament who hangs proudly in my room and the retro cannisters just need some labelling.

Doing up our Bali photos from our holiday recently when I find the time in between all the other scrapping that I have to either complete or WANT to do NOW. Got the chopsticks from a thrift shop for 50c and thought they would look great on the cover. Loving the bamboo stamp aswell, perfect for this book.
Bonscraps paper of the month challenge, did this LO today super duper quick for me as even I was stunned. The plastic mesh stuff is something I just happened to come across in a craft store and presume its used for some kind of cross stitch?????

The girls kit (October) from Bons is just stunning, just loving the collection this month. Embossed the inner of butterfly, inked the edge and used rub ons. Also used my fiskars drill for the first time to put holes in it to attach the brads, geez Im getting clever.......

We are back from our holiday to Bali and what a gorgeous time we had. Following are a couple of photos of our trip and I will upload more soon.

Now I must say I was very impressed with the cocktails, yep a few times I was impressed as I think I tried most of them!! Yummo, my fav had bannana in it mmmmmmm and how cool is the coconut. VERY NOICE

Cant believe that someone carved this watermelon into this cool creature, how awesome is that. Our hotel had fruit carving displays every week and it was just amazing to watch them create these works of art.

Jason and I went for a walk along the beach at Legian/Kuta and stumbled across this sand sculpture, LOVED IT. So many suprises in Bali, with all the colours, flora and the people.

These are photos of clothes etc we bought back for the kids, how inspiring are the fabrics and patterns. Cant wait to base a layout on these. The clothes are just so cheap and gorgeous and they last well if you know what to look for.

I purchased three YEP 3 perfumes on our holiday!! Got Jean Paul Gaultier duty free (my fav) and it is the only way I can afford it. The other two smellies I bought from the Matahari shopping centre and they are by Lomani a french perfume company. This time I went for the real deal and not the copies, they just dont last on me long.

Below is my photo swap I did at bonscraps and I had the delight of scrapping Kates photo of her 30th birthday. Oh it took some serious deliberation to scrap someone elses photo and a lot of nervous moment but all in all I am happy with the finished product.

Well the weekend was busy for us but we got alot accomplished, the cubby house is up and the wee furniture is in. Cade and Lainey are just so excited about it and it is a lovely haven for them to go and play in and give Mum some quiet time LOL.

YES I have been Op Shopping once again!!! This a picture of Lainey playing with a Geotrax track by Fisher Price which I got for a bargain basement price of $10 bucks. Cade and Lainey just love it and play with it any chance they get, that's if Lainey doesnt take off with the trains etc.

MMMmmmm Yes well yet another Handbag find at the Salvos. I really need more handbags, yes I do, I swear I do need this handbag, without it my life would be incomplete.. LOL.. Look how cute it is though with the flowers and buttons, OOOOhhhhhhh. Im taking it out tommorow for its first day as my number 1 favourite handbag of the moment.

Fell in Love with this cushion which I have sitting on my fav chair now and some cute glass jars to keep flowers etc in.

The kids entertaining themselves on the floor of my scrapbooking room. They are both just so into drawing at the moment and they usually share quite well, so sweet.

And a couple of pages that I have completed this week. Very proud that I scrapped this page of Grandad after he passed away last week. He was such a gentle loving man with a great zest for life. Love you Grandad Forever.

Have been enjoying the "Scrapping World" again so much and having a lovely time catching up with everyone again at Bonscraps and Chookscraps. So much so that I have two retreats to look forward to you next year and I am so looking forward to meeting all the girls.

Cade starts back at Kindy tommorow and Lainey has Daycare so I get to scrap all day at the local scrap shop and they have 50% OFF all stock as they are closing Yeeh Hah.

Only three weeks away until I go on our second honeymoon with Jason to Bali. Looking forward to relaxing, shopping and spending quality time with my man. Need to catch up on some serious sleep, between two children and the Tour De France IM EXHAUSTED. Very proud of Cadel Evans though he is riding like the wind and what a gentle natured person he is.

Got bored with these frames the other night, so decided to VAMP them up and BLING away with some florals. Duck from an Op Shop and cost be a whole 1 buck OUCH!!! LOL!

Photos I took of one of our local beaches today, it was Bliss. So peaceful with families, surfers and people walking their dogs. Love the great outdoors, especially when its not raining on ME. Do love the rain though.

Well its been a busy week again thanks to school holidays and all the trials and tribulations that life throws at you when you arent ready. My dear Grandad Christmass passed away over the wknd, a true gentleman who loved his family, his dear Nora and his beautiful garden and their dog santa (Yes Christmass with a double s is their surname) and what a gardner the man was. Its times like these you wish you sometimes Stopped BREATHED AND TOOK THINGS SLOWER. AND listened to people more intently, smelled the flowers deeper, told your loved ones how much you cared, took some time to help those who are in need, curled up and watched the clouds sweep by, LAUGHED MORE, held someones hand for longer and curled up with your kids when they are asleep and hug them all night.......................... Family and Friends it is what keeps me grounded, sane and happy.

Oh I just love this statue in our garden, I look out our back family room and she is right there surrounded by beautiful plant life.

I mean it has been such a LONG LONG time since I have blogged that I nearly have forgotten what to do!!!! Just so much to write about aswell and not sure where really to start, how about the beginning? Well this is all the fun we had during the week in the beautiful sunshine, decided it was about time to give the pots some plants and the garden a revamp. Lainey had a lovely time eating, playing, throwing and sifting through all the dirt. While darling Cade helped rake up our new soil in preparation for the plants.

I have some other scrapping pages to upload later in the week but I thought I would just upload my ATC's I have been working on for now. Starting to get addicted and will have to seriously think about doing a swap real soon like NOW. I have been trying so hard to organise my Scrapbooking Haven once again and still end up with it looking like the place where a clutter fairy would live. I just have way to much stuff (as we all do) and no organisational skills to make it look pretty. Considering also it is the first room you see as you enter our home this is not a good thing, trust me = MESS.

Went to the local park on the wknd as the weather was feral and Cade was getting four walls syndrome. He needed to get out and run off some steam so we took our camera and he was in the mood for posing. Thats good for me and the scrapbooking queen in me!!

Also got some beautiful shots of trees which I just L-O-V-E

Happy Belated Australia Day everyone, hope you all had a fantastic time celebrating our wonderful country and all our beautiful fauna, flora, friends and family that fill it. Im a real Aussie Gal and I just am so proud to call myself an Australian, we are just very fortunate to have a beautiful place to bring our children up in. We celebrated the Aussie Day late as our friends had their wedding on the Saturday, so we organised a Breakfast which was a fantastic fun. The cake was a belated birthday suprise for my husband who way away on his day this year and it was rather yum and in theme of course.
This photo was taken of myself and Jason at Sharon and Stu's wedding, a good time had by all and what a gorgeous bride Sharon was. Stuart looked pretty good in the ol Scottish Kilt aswell. Congratulations Guys we are so happy for you both.
This is my hubbie Jas out windsurfing and he was carving it up!! I took the kids down to the beach to watch Dad and Cade had the most wonderful time racing him up and downt he footpath as Jason surfed up and down the beach.
And the new latest photo of my Angel Lainey, what an adorable little girl she is growing up to be. Such a pleasant nature and a cheeky streak just to add some spice. Can't believe how quick she is growing before our eyes and fingers crossed she is not crawling in the next few week or Daddy Jason will miss out.

Well no Scrapping Pages to upload this post girls n boys but I promise to have a very BIG end of week in this area. Have been printing photos off this afternoon and planning pages, so the basics are there and I should be ready to go when I can find a little bit of time.

Oh and one last thing, our darling boy Cade starts KINDY on Monday. He is not so positive about the whole School thing at the moment, so I am hoping the new Lunchbox and Schoolbag might just twist his arm. He is going to look so bloody cute in his little uniform.

Firstly I want to share some new gorgeous photos of Cade and Lainey. Note that there is only one photo of Cade as he is a bit of a toddler now and wont play nice with Mummy's Camera!!! I just so love the photo of Lainey down the beach, she is a big cutie pie. We have tried to get to the beach most weeks and Cade just loves to frolic in the sand and the water it is such pleasure to watch him explore and just be a boy. Missy on the other hand wants to try and eat the sand and then she just gets fed up and whingy, she is not quite old enough yet to enjoy it as much as her big brother.

Next are some photos of my new scrapbooking ROOM, Yep I said it!!!! Girls I now have my very own space just for me and it is BLISS. Have my lil tv set up and my stereo and just love having my own space where I can relax and enjoy ME time "SCRAPPING OF COURSE".

Oh and these are some of my latest layouts that I have been doing. Have joined in and done a Cybercrop over at Chookscraps and have really enjoyed the challenges, must admit I am really starting to like the white space LO's. This is considering I usually cover my page with all sorts!!

And now to what is happening in our Lives, well as most of you know its not long now until school starts and for us this is a very exciting time. Cade starts kindy at his school he will hopefully be attending for Primary in two weeks and I just can't wait to see him in his wee lil uniform. He only attends for two half days and one full day so I will have to make the most of my day off with Lainey and get back into some sport!! I am also organising a 4th bday party for him with a CAR theme as he is completley CAR CRAZY, I have done some funky invites (will take photos) and have made lil racing flags to stick in the top of the food. ANYONE GOT ANY GOOD PARTY IDEAS FOR THIS AGE, GAMES OR FOOD etc etc???? Already planning Laineys 1st bday in May, well not planning just come up with a teddy bears picnic theme Sooo CUTE....

Have a BIG week planned as DH Jas will be home so we are attending a friends wedding together which will be nice and just catching up on all the usual odds and ends that you do. Might try and take the kids on a train ride, although not sure how Lainey will go if she gets tired (Bit of a SCREAMER).

Getting some me time on Thursday, getting my hair done and CRIKEY it so needs it. Lil bit of shopping, oh and we are also having an AUSSIE day BBQ Breakfast on Sunday for Jason's belated bday (Oh and if you read this Jason, the kids have got you a suprise to open)!!!!

TIME FLYS WHEN YOUR HAVING FUN

OUR NEW HOME
GROWING UP FAST

Yes well time does fly when you are having fun and boy we have had our share. It's being a stressful time moving but also so much joy to catch up with family and friends over the festive season. We have settled into our new house and as usual we have a "to do" list of odd jobs but we have years to complete them as IM NOT MOVING AGAIN (well not for a long time). The kids have adapted really well to all the moving and changes and they love having all the extra family and friends spoiling them rotten. It has being a good move for me aswell to have the support and Jason is loving being back by the beach (WINDSURFER).

The Scrapbooking scene has been quiet for me but last night I started on my Xmas photos and Im back on board! Have alot to catch up on, havent been to a Scrap shop in ages. Need to pop in and see what all the latest is, I am sure heaps of new goodies are available. If you read this post, leave a comment and tell me whats the one NEW Scrap goodie I need to buy ASAP.

Well I have a night out this wknd which is a first for me and when I say a night out I mean out the whole night and not back to the next day WOWSERS. Nannie Dawn is having the kids and staying at ours overnight whilst I attend a girlfriends Hens Night, its going to be a laugh. Although the next day I have to get up and attend a childrens birthday party, probably with slight hangover and I will be avoiding all party games.

Okay I have done a little scrapping but not much!! Got to get my butt into gear over the next few weeks and catch up Heh?? Well the one on the left is for Bonscraps Sketch Challenge and I just love the bamboo stamped edging. The Girls was scrapped for 123 Monthly Challenge and the criteria was overlays, no flowers and ripping/torn edges. Well I have so many scrapping pages and OTP items to do for friends and myself etc, oh well I will get there eventually.

Made this little book as a keepsake for Dad and Mum of their Boy Tyson, unfortunately "Big Ty" has passed away and we will miss the little keg on legs who made us smile and gave the best companionship in the world as a mans best friend does.

How does your garden grow?? Well Ive uploaded this photo to prove to my Sister that I haven't YET killed the plants she got us from the markets. Yes they are still alive and I have even mulched them, just not making any promises...........

Latest photos of our Family, the kids are ready to come outside and help me hang out the washing and self portrait of myself! Poor Jason has just finished a 100km bike ride to raise funds for the cancer foundation, what a sweetheart. Miss him dearly as he is busy with work at the moment.

And the sun setting over the hills and the ocean at Bowen HOW BEAUTIFUL Mother Nature is, simply stunning.

This is as clean as my scrap space gets!!! Just moved the old buffet over and used it for added storage, it is amazing how much stuff you accumulate over time eh?? Have a Xyron Machine which I haven't been using much, it is playing up and Im not happy with the quality of the cut? Has anyone else got one and if so do you use it? Also have to cover my paper rack over with a sarong when Im not using it, thanks to the gheckos up here in QLD doing their business over my cardstock!!!!

Okay two layouts Ive done this month over at Bonscraps the winter LO of Cade is the monthly layout and Love Is with Lainey is for paper of the month. Loving the paper of the month challenge as it makes me scrap paper I would not normally look at buying and its awesome to see everyone's interpretation. The floral paper was blck n white and I coloured it in with watercolours, pencils and kindy glitz GREAT FUN!

Oh and this is a gorgeous Rak I received from Karlene THANKS GIRL

Two Challenges I have done for 123 Cybercrop, they have some awesome criterias this month. Had to use bling, paint and creative edging for the first LO and the second LO is using inks, stars and arrows.

And some photos I took this morning before we headed out to friends. Cade was dressed in full camo gear, he thinks he is a soldier and "Gorgeous Girl" in Red. I am so loving the red at the moment, have got myself some tops and some nice new shoes

Oh and how cute is this photo of Chubba Bubba after bathtime. Lainey is 3months old now and only just starting to enjoy bathtime, she usually screams the whole time!!

This weeks updated photos of the kids, Cade is just so proud of his sister and loves to make Lainey giggle. It is the sweetest thing to watch.

This is part of the mini book class Charm taught at Tarisota Collections the other night, I did mine on my DS Cade. Had a brilliant time making the book and look forward to the next collection and some new classes, think I might have to join in a few more!! They are perfect for me being at home in the evenings with young children. OOooohh and the August collection looks real pretty!

More updated photos of the kiddly winks!! Cade has been driving us crazy with boredom today and he just wants a playmate 24/7 (cant wait for Lainey to grow up)! I did an online class over at Tarisota Collections last night with the lovely Charmane Koch. It was a mini book with a pizza box used as the covers, just brilliant!! Will post photos of the completed book soon and hope to get it finished tonight, HOPE! Weekend is nice and quiet for us this time which is good and gives Jason and I plenty of time to catch on a few house jobs. He is heading to Bunnings in the morning with Cade to get some new taps for the bathroom after I broke one a few months back, "HEH I was CLEANING"!

The weather here is starting to warm up a little so my mood is alot better as I am sure it is controlled by the weather and I am a summer lover. Can't wait to utilise the pool again, Lainey has the most gorgeous Bubba togs and Cade wouldn't get out last summer ( like a fish ).
So has everyone purchased the new Harry Potter book? Im a fan but haven't got it yet and plan on buying asap . Once you start reading the books you just can't put them down (well I can't).
Although I don't have alot of time for reading at the moment with the kids, scrapbooking and just all round day to day life.

Yep have been shopping AGAIN!!! Got some great stuff from Spotlight, the library bags for the kids hang over the backs of their chairs and I am going to put their colouring in books an pencils in them. How cute are they?? Although Lainey is only 7 weeks old so I am jumping the gun just a little on that purchase!! Cade is excited his has the pirate on it though, he is loving the pirates at the moment AHOY THERE ME HEARTIES!!

Okay Scrapbooking purchases are feathers, ric rac, felt, stamps and some thread now I am sewing a little on my layouts. And just how adorable are these ladybugs, moon etc? They are lil wooden shapes with felt on, just perfect for scrapbooking I SAY. Can't wait to try them out on a page and see how they look.

Below is a LO I completed for Bonscraps really happy with this page and enjoyed doing it! The journalling came easy for a change and I am thrilled I have actually stuck some buttons on there, not to mention that I actually used paint aswell WOWEE for ME!

Lainey has the biggest cheesey smiles now and she gurgles and coos every morning. Cade cracks her and himself up getting all excited over his little sisters facial expressions! Well as you can see Cade is shopping in all the latest toy catalogues and keeps telling me and Jason that he want them in his house PLEASE. Well I give him credit for the manners!!

Having a quiet wknd again this wknd, Jason has a bike ride on which is mainly uphill. I am cringing at the thought of it, so TOUR DE FRANCE!! Popping out to the night markets tonight at our Riverway area which will be awesome I hope, they have heaps of stalls being set up already and music n food.

Wow how wonderful the weather is in Nth Qld in Winter, we are having the most beautiful sunshine full days. Above are the latest photos of Cade and Lainey. Jason took Cade out this morning to go and have a look at a hot air balloon, as you can see by the photo he doesn't look that impressed!!! Lainey is still full of smiles first thing in the morning and we try and make the most of it before Little Miss Cranky Pants comes out to Play!

Have had a quiet wknd at home, we are all still a little under the weather with colds and runny noses. Managed to get some exciting housework done and just relax in between entertaining the kids. Scrapped the below pages for Bonscraps , still have a few challenges to get done by the end of the month so I will see how it goes!

Well its a busy time juggling Lainey, Cade, housework and scrapping!!! I am keeping on top of most things but only JUST. I am doing the Just for July Challenge over
at Bonscraps , this is great fun and enjoying the photos that I am taking everyday. Spotty Layout of Lainey was also done for Bonscraps CC, had to have 4 photos, 4 brads at least and own handwriting. Went to shops yesterday to layby some
toys for Xmas, figured the first day of the sale would have been MAD. Managed to get all the toys I had picked out for Cade though which was excellent. Although haven't got anything for Lainey as yet, she will be around 7 months old and have no idea what to get her. Cade and I made Gingerbread men the other day and it was a bit messy in the kitchen to say the least. Oh and they tasted so so good.

How gorgeous are these photos?? The black and white of Lainey is just beautiful, I can't wait to scrap this photo of our gorgeous girl. Cade was hamming it up for the camera which was nice, alot of the time he is hiding from it (wonder why?) LOL. Oh and of course the candid shot of the three of us, going to try this when Jas is home. LOVE EM!

Nearly time to get the precious girls first lot of needles done aswell which is scary, will have to drag someone in for moral support I think. IM A SCAREDY CAT!

Exciting news also for me is I have enrolled to do a Tarisota Collections class which is a mini book designed by Charmane Koch and it is just gorgeous, can't wait. Also ordered the " I Want It All Collection" , it is absolutely stunning and will be waiting by the letterbox for this one!!

Here are two of my layouts I have completed for the Forever Always Cybercrop, can't find the missing layout. Think I have managed to save it in some weird file or it's being sucked into the BIG BLACK hole!!!! Well I have alot of scrapping ahead of me in between looking after the kids!! Need to update Miss Lainey's baby book and the list goes on and on from there.

Mum has now gone home from helping me out after the birth and WOW things are alot busier with two kids!! Yikes I don't no if Im Arthur or Martha. Still I managed to get all the washing done and folded (not put away as yet), food shopping is done and even managed to cook half the dinner tonight before Jason had to take over.

Have had 2 parcels (scrap related) turn up this week and boy I have alot of goodies to get stuck into and use!! Got some FAB stuff from BONSCRAPS, I got the American Craft Thickers in FOUR Colours WOOO HOOOO! Oh and I have another parcel arriving this week

Oh and Im also in a MAJOR, MAJOR dilemma this week. There is a Large/Big/Huge Chance that we can move home to W.A. if we choose to. The pro's are that we will be near our families and some great friends. The Bad side is that the cost of housing over there is way scary and have been in our house in QLD for 6months!! We have alot of great friends here and I just love the weather but I do miss the FAM!!

Oh well enough jibber jabber, got a busy day tomorrow cooking fairy cakes with Cade and hopefully getting out and about down to the park in the morning. Friends for a bbq in the afternoon and then SCRAPPING of course!!

Where has the time gone??

Where has the time gone? Already our little angel Lainey seems to be growing before my eyes everytime I blink!!! Oh she is such a cutie but boy she can cry and keep us awake most of the night, fingers crossed that will get better with time. Oh and then there is our BIG boy Cade, wow he looks so grown up when I go in and tuck his bed in at night and give him a lil kiss. Kids you have to make the most of your time with them because they will be moving out before we know it!

Have been scrapping in between feeds and getting more than I anticipated completed which is good. 1,2,3 have had their cybercrop on and have really enjoyed the 80's theme, my goodness it has taken some effort to come up with an 80's photo though how scary they all are (bad fashion)!

Went shopping with Mum today and purchased 3 chopping boards, wow that's exciting. Not really into the clothes shopping just yet, got to lose some baby pounds first and hit the ol treadmill.

Oh well no more rambling today, Jason has lasagne in the oven ready to go and I have to sort Miss Lainey out so I can actually eat the food while it is HOT.

Hot food now that would be nice!!!

Yep I have been SHOPPING AGAIN for supplies, well I didn't actually intentionally go out for Scrapbooking stuff (really I didn't!). Took the Mum's out for a look around the shops and just had to buy all this stuff I found in a cheap shop for sale, some great beads and different embellishments YIPPEE and all at a bargain price.

Had a lovely day out today and got some great photos of DS Cade enjoying our Beautiful QLD Winter, he was having a ball running around. Our little angel Lainey is growing before our eyes already, she looks so BIG for two weeks old and just so gorgeous. I would love her even more if she learnt to sleep a lil better!!!!! zzzzzzz zzzzzz

Oh and this is my first page I have scrapped of Lainey for 1,2,3 June Challenge , she is just so easy to scrap being that CUTE!! Lots of pinks, bling and girly stuff now on my pages YEAH!! Can't wait to do a sibling's in love page........

Tomorrow we are out and about again, off to get Lainey weighed out of interest to see how much weight she has gained already. Then taking Mum to the shops for some retail therapy and then home to meet the two boys for lunch.
Off to take the trash out now and then it's time to catch up on doing nothing while the lil girl is sleeping peacefully. Chat soon.

Our Little girl Lainey has arrived and she is just so precious. Lainey has the most loveliest nature and as long as she is fed when needed she remains happy and content. Cannot believe how similar to our DS Cade she looks at birth, but with a more petite feminine look about her (they are siblings for sure)!!! Well the household is very busy here at the moment but also most enjoyable, as we are all getting enough sleep to keep us sane AT THE MOMENT.

Went out and about today for a lil look just to get out of the house and ended up buying scrapbooking stuff, you never would have guessed LOL. I got some beautiful beads, ribbons, felt and some stamps that I am just dying to get stuck into. Have also placed an order over a Bons which Im very eager to recieve just loving all the new stock she is getting in. Oh and Im off to the shops again tomorrow to take our lil girl Lainey for her first outing. On my list of to do is of course is printing photos FUNNY THAT .

Cade is so beautiful with his baby sister and I just love watching my Husband hold his little girl, it is such a beautiful thing. Oh well everyone off to go and sort through my old preggers clothes, just can't wait to finally get rid of them and get some new gear on that's not daggy. Chat Soon

Well tomorrow is the day we welcome our new bundle of joy into the world, so we are very excited in this household and a lil nervous!!!!!! Decided to spend my Sunday relaxing and of course getting in some last minute scrapping. Managed to complete 2 x May Challenges for Chookscraps . There are some great LO's in the gallery already and Im eager to check out what everyone else gets up to while Im away. Oh and Jody if you happen to get on and check out my blog, this card is for you and your bundle of j0y when he arrives!!!!!
This is Cade this morning having a great time entertaining Nannie Joy. He is playing bears in a cage, just got to love kids imaginations SO SWEET.

I have been promised fish n chips for tea tonight by the two MUMs, because as of tomorrow it will be no food for a lil while and then hospital food EEeeeKKkkk!! So going to make the most of my last night before I become a healthy eater again, hopefully this plan will last. Oh well next post everyone will be photos of our newborn chubba bubba, so stay tuned and chat soon....

This is my page I created for 1,2,3 May Monthly Challenge, can't believe how quick Cade has grown!!!! And yes he still is my Little Angel SOMETIMES!!! Im in love with the Hambly Transperancies that I got from Bonscraps, you get so many on a 12x12 page JUST LOVE EM!

And here is our mini reno on our KITCHEN. It looks 100% better if I may so myself for a fraction of the price. The corrugated iron gives it a funky edge and I love my shelves with my fav oils, cool cannisters and of course Jaimie Oliver Cookbook (not that I can cook that well)!!

Had a great time doing the Challenges over at 1,2,3 Cybercrop, trying to get as much scrapping done as possible before the baby arrives!! The Challenges are great and I love how everyone gets to put in their ideas for the criteria's, might have to think of one or two for next time. Didn't get to chat as much as I would have liked but I am sure there is plenty of time for that soon.

Today nothing to eventful has happened, pantry is cleaned and organised and kitchen reno nearly complete. This is the OH MY GOD what a disaster photo, no cupboard doors and just stuff everywhere!!

Will take photos very soon of the finished product, Im so happy my lil kitchen has been transformed into a new haven. Now if only the cooking would come out perfect, baking is not my thing! Curtains have been made in a really cute lilac colour for bubba's room and Cade has been loving all the baby
toys that are now out of the cupboards and all over the HOUSE! Cade went to the park today down the road and sat and watched the fish on the jetty with his Nannie Dawn. It is so beautiful on the Ross River, check out the photo!

The Cheeky boy Cade drinking something red, hence the ruby red lips. He thinks he is wearing lipstick like Mum and Nan, so he is CUTE now.

Oh and my Naughty Naughty buy from BIG W, I think Im in love with ribbons. There are 40 different ribbons in this box and all 3m lengths, now that will last me awhile IM SURE.Well better get back to scrapping, trying to finish of

the 1,2,3 May Challenge and then onto Bonscraps Book of? Challenge. No rest with this addiction LOL.........

Well I have finally decorated my beloved Ribbon Box and IM very happy with the finished result!! Still have to work out what I am going to do with all the lil bits that are still shoved in a plastic bag. Storage for scrapbooking is a dilemma when you keep on buying n buying stuff!!!

This is my first page for Bons (Bonscraps) "Book Of Challenge", really looking forward to this Challenge it's ongoing and F-U-N. Have decided to do my book on "What Makes ME" me, so will keep posting updates as I get my pages completed. MMmmmmm wonder what the next challenge is?

Oh and Cade cooking with Nannie Dawn, mmm looks Messy. What mother can't love a face like that, Sooo Sooo CUTE!

The Kitchen is nearly complete YES NEARLY, we are just putting a couple of shelves up on the wall and then we are all DONE. It looks so good for such a small area and it looks Spanking New which is gr8. Photos will be taken after the wknd and it is completed YIPPPEE.

Well I have been spoilt already for Mothers Day already!! The breakfast is cooking on the bbq, thanks to my husband and I got some cool prezzies from my darling son Cade.

Two Coffee Tins I have decorated and given as presents to Mum and Mil for Mothers Day. Entered the orange tin for Mum in Scrapbooking Top 50's Off the Page Comp for April and won a set of stampsYEAH (nobody else entered though ssshhh our lil secret). These are two LO's I completed last night. Fun Times is for Crafting In Style's CC and Cade is for Week 1 Challenge 2 over at Chookscraps.

The Kitchen is still in renovation mode, Jason is about to start cutting the mini corrugated iron to wrap around the outside of bench top. Can't wait to see the finished product. I am hopefully going to complete three YES three Layout's today that I have semi organised and just need to add finishing touches. So in a scrapping mood...............................

Whats Happening In MY LIFE

At the moment I have my Mother In Law over looking after us and helping me before chubba bubba arrives. The reason for the very untidy photo of my kitchen is that this is the BEFORE shot, MIL is helping us repaint, change door knobs and put up some groovy shelving to update our lil kitchen into a trendy haven!! So I will post a picture of the revamped Kitch hopefully in a week or two!!

Also in the middle of decorating a ribbon box I purchased from the local Scrap shop, just needs a coat of varnish and a few finishing touches and I will put a piccy up of that aswell. Can't wait till I can organise my ribbons, at the moment they are in a plastic bag and all over the floor. WHOOPS.
This is a lunchbox tin I decorated over at Bonscraps for April's CC. Had a gr8 time playing with all my scraps and stickers and looking forward to the next CC, although probably can't make that due to arrival of baby!!

Well Hello Everyone!!!

This is my first attempt at blogging so hopefully you will all see an improvement overtime!!!

I was introduced to Scrapbooking by a girlfriend in March 2006 and haven't stopped since. Have always loved photography and now can combine my love for art together with all my PHOTOS. I Scrap because it is time for me, also an expression and most importantly a time capsule of our lives. This is a page I have scrapped of our new baby, who is to arrive in approx 2 weeks!!! We have been told it is a girl, my obstetrician scans me constantly (8 times so far). So fingers crossed because the nursery is all decked out in dragonflys.........
